Diamond in the rough!
Finally feeling better! Amen to that!! I decided to take the kids out today now that I am finally feeling better. We made a quick stop at Walmart and then headed to ASHBY PARK!! It really is a diamond in the rough!! Tennis courts, two play areas, swings, and a wading pool!!!! Brayden is pretty close to 4ft tall and the water hit him mid trunks in the deepest area. Nolan was "swimming" on his belly. Brayden was swimming underwater and Kalyn and I were splashing and relaxing!!! There are bathrooms handy AND big enough for all four of us to be in there at once.there are picnic tables for sack lunches and water fountains if your boys drink all of their water before you get to the park!! :) SAHM, let me know if you want to meet there ever!!! We go 9:30-12 typically!! Did I mention it is FREE!?!?!!!

Under the weather
This post is kind of just me whining but not about the weather (although who's ready for fall???? This girl!)
June 28th was the last day that I felt like my normal self. I have been hit pretty hard with a flu bug or something. July 3 was the worst.... Fever and chills and Jon was at work and I had to take care of myself and the kids without an ounce of relief!
Still haven't been able to shake this bug, but thankfully no one else has gotten sick.
Say a quick prayer for a healthy mama to start the new week (and that everyone else stays healthy)!! We have a lot of great stuff planned for this week!!! Once I feel better, I have a LOT of deep cleaning ahead of me!!

Swim Lessons
A good friend of mine takes her daughters to private swim lessons. So, we decided to give it a go! He loves it!! It's just him and his teacher - one on one. He learned to go under water today, jump off the side and dive is arrow (hands above head) into the arrow catcher (his teacher) from the step. He also learned to kick and float on his back!! All this on day one!!! I say it's worth it!!
Nolan and Kalyn were swinging together and watching the dogs while Brayden had his lesson!

DIY Laundry soap
Ingredients:
1 (4 lb 12 oz) Box of Borax- Found in the detergent aisle
1 (3 lb 7 oz) Box of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda- Found in the detergent aisle
1 (3 lb) Container of OxyClean- Found in the detergent aisle.
2 (14.1 oz) Bars of Zote Soap- Found in the detergent aisle (we used Fels Naptha) you have to grate it with a cheese grater. This literally took the most time.
2 (2 lb) Boxes of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda- Found in the cooking aisle (You could also get 1 4 lb box, we just couldn’t find it when we went)
1-2 (55 oz) Bottle of Purex Crystals Fabric Softener- Found in the detergent aisle (This is 100% optional. I used two and love it!! Not too strong.)
Mix it all together. Each load will take 1-2 Tbls. THAT's IT!
